CORE ORCA Pro Fin – When Two Industry Leaders Unite

CORE Kiteboarding and ORCA Fin by Boardschmiede joined forces
to create something the kiteboarding world hadn't seen before:
the CORE ORCA Pro Fin.

CORE brings decades of carbon and composite engineering
expertise — the same precision behind their competition-grade
boards and kites. ORCA brings the patent-pending heel-side
downforce geometry that dominated King of the Air 2025 in
both the Men's and Women's categories.

The result is the CORE ORCA Pro Fin — the most technically
advanced big air kiteboard fin available today.

CORE ORCA Pro Fin FAQs – Your Questions Answered

What is the CORE ORCA Pro Fin?

The CORE ORCA Pro Fin is a collaboration between CORE Kiteboarding and ORCA Fin by Boardschmiede. It combines the patent-pending ORCA heel-side fin geometry — the same shape that won both King of the Air 2025 categories — with CORE Kiteboarding's high-performance composite construction.

What is the difference between the CORE ORCA Pro Fin and the standard ORCA Fin Set?

Both fins use the identical proven ORCA dual-radii curved profile. The CORE ORCA Pro Fin runs at 51mm depth versus the standard 50mm, and is built with CORE's composite construction. The standard ORCA Fin Set is €69. The CORE ORCA Pro Fin is €99.90.

Which pro riders tested the CORE ORCA Pro Fin?

The CORE ORCA Pro Fin was tested by CORE's pro team including Shahar Tsabary, Giel Vlugt, Zara Hoogenraad and Steven Akkersdijk — all experienced big air riders who tested it in real competition training conditions before launch.

Will the CORE ORCA Pro Fin fit my kiteboard?

Yes — the CORE ORCA Pro Fin uses the same heel-side-only mounting system as the standard ORCA Fin. It fits most twin-tip kiteboards with standard 38mm fin spacing and M5 hardware. Installs in under 5 minutes. F-One boards require an adapter — contact us at mail@boardschmiede.com.

Why did CORE Kiteboarding collaborate with ORCA Fin on this product?

CORE Kiteboarding recognized the ORCA fin concept as a genuinely new direction in kiteboard performance — not an iteration of existing fin technology, but a patent-pending approach to how fins generate downforce and grip. After testing results validated what King of the Air 2025 had already proven, CORE committed to bringing their engineering expertise to the ORCA shape.
